My name is Vanessa Money, and I have enjoyed baking for many years.  About 17 years ago I decided that I needed a hobby and decided to do sugarcraft.  It soon became addictive and I started making cakes and decorating them with sugar flowers. After a while I decided that I wanted to learn more so I enrolled at college where I learned a variety of techniques.  I am now qualified in Sugarcraft and Sugar Flowers so you can be assured that my work is of the very highest standards.  Whilst at college I was awarded with the Achievement & Committment Trophy, and also entered international competitions where I gained Certificates of Merit and a Bronze award.  I am also a member of the British Sugarcraft Guild and the National Sugar Art Association, which means I keep up to date with demonstrations from some very talented sugarcrafters. 

I work from my home in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, in a workroom away from the main kitchen, so your cake is kept safely away from other family members at all times.  I hold a certificate in Food Hygiene and have very high standards.

As I work full time I now only take bookings for wedding cakes (sorry but I will not do novelty wedding cakes).  I specialise in sugar flowers so if you would like a floral centrepiece to go with your cake that can be arranged.  I design and make cakes using a variety of techniques, including royal icing and chocolate.  I'm proud to say that all my cakes are baked by me from scratch.  If you would like to discuss your requirements, please get in touch so that we can organise a meeting, which is completely free of charge, and with no obligation to buy. 

If required I will deliver and set up your cake for a small charge (based on mileage - I will deliver anywhere in the UK).  When buying a wedding cake, you can hire a stand and knife at no extra cost (a refundable deposit is required).  A knife spray can be made up to match your cake if required. 

I now also demonstrate sugar flowers and piping gel to sugracraft groups.  I take bookings anywhere in the UK for demonstrations or workshops.  For more info please see my demonstrations page.
